Approximately 7 years ago I designed a Presentation Structure Template that I was certain EVERYONE would need. After viewing over 10,000 presentations in the past 20 years I am happy to say we have this structure down to a science. As a matter of fact, its grounded in “brain-based” science!
I was a one-woman show 7 years ago and I tried really hard to launch this product on www.Amazon.com. The process to launch on @amazon all those years ago was not simple and not very user friendly for a novice. There was no @amazonkindle template for self-publishers. After lots of expenses and many frustrating hours, I gave up. My brainchild went dormant and I let the content sleep on my computer for years.
Last year, while on a business trip to San Diego to give a presentation, I ran into a colleague. This colleague is someone I gave my Presentation Structure Template to years ago. As we were discussing updates, new business, children, he asked if I was still marketing and selling my template. I paused, awkwardly, and shared that I had given up on the project years prior, but I still send the template from the website for FREE. This gentleman was aghast that I would continue to give away a structure that he requires ALL of his sales presentations to match before they GoLive. This colleague said, “This is the best structure I have ever found to elicit the highest audience engagement.” He also said “Kimberli, you should consider making this product available for sale. This product changes peoples’ lives.”
Fast forward to 2020 and our launch on @AmazonKindle
Even though I am completely humbled by this process, I cannot wait to move this ship forward. Our Presentation Structure Template is the first product in a suite of products to be launched over the next 12 months. Although this process came attached to a steep learning curve, I am confident we made the right choice to partner with Amazon.
